Last friday was goooood!

Last friday was hilarious! We all went to a curry house which had karoake, Graham did a beach boys rendition (personally I never thought he’d get those high pitched “oooh-eeehs” right - but he did!!!), and Dave did a half of ‘Ice Ice Baby’, which was even funnier, but the Karoake disc conked out - o well. Was very funny though. On a very good note my seeds are off on a marathon, I’ve got Lobelia, Gilia, and something else, they’re all going to be pink or purple. I also bought and planted some Basil for my window sill, which hasn’t sprouted yet - so fingers crossed. I’m also closer to getting my site completely CSS based, W3C compliant and multiple browser compliant. I am also contemplating a colour change, so I’m just experimenting with at the moment.

This week

Well, I had a great time in Hull, it was a really good break. This week I planted some seeds I bought in a garden centre whilst away, and they’re sprouting already! Who’d have known it? Me being able to grow from seeds (to be honest I expected that I’d done it all wrong and they’d die!), so I’m pretty impressed with that. Graham has, this week re-designed his site to be all clever with php, and this week I’m in the process of making my site using CSS instead of (cheating) tables. I’ve just about done, but (as any other web designer would probably say the same - the one I work with has!) CSS is a real pain. The Birmingham conference was of average sorts. The usual sort of conference really. Right better go get ready, going for a night out with uni mates tonight.

My latest adventures

Well, I got back from seeing my sister last week, it was gorgeous weather there, I took lots of piccys and I got loads of work done. On the work front, I met my end of march deadlines, which is great, (well I should’ve, the amount of overtime I did - it’s been a frantic few weeks). Now I’m packed up to be off again. This time I’m leaving Graham at home, as I’m at a 2 day meeting for work up north, then have decided to drop by Hull for a few days to see the parents (and to not do ANY work at all - yay!). It is alos my nieces birthday this week, she’s 5 - I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed!! I can’t wait to see all the family when i go back to Hull!
