Update

The last week and a half have been a real panic for me at work. It’s been all hands on deck to get the latest course finished (as there’s now only me working on the technical side of course development at eLanguages - we used to be 3), but now it appears as if it’s all under control (reason: I’ve done stacks of overtime), minus a few stray glossary entries. I’m really looking forward to Xmas now, especially to seeing my older sister and her family. On an even better note, eLanguages (looking unfunded for a while there) has now got some funding for after Xmas, so I come back to soton after Xmas to a job…woo hoo!!! Stuff is all falling into place. Even my new curtains I’m making for the flat are starting to look good.

Move done

Well, the move went quite well. All the stuff was moved quite quickly. The only thing that we had a hiccup with was our boiler in the new place. Graham had switched it on a couple of days before we moved and when Graham arrived at the flat with his parents on Saturday morning, he found that the boiler had over heated and steam had gone everywhere and the flat walls were dripping. Glad I didn’t get there first, I would have gone mad! Anyway, Graham rang the landlord and he came that day and fixed it, so all’s good now. Righty ho, Better get back to working, I’m swamped today.
