Saturday nights (hiccup)

I like saturday nights. Friday nights are good too though, we went to a local pub last night with some work mates and had a laugh and a couple of pints, and tonight we’re on a bottle of wine (starting to feel tipsy here). I’ve been packing bits and bobs today, our flat is starting to look as boring as it did when I arrived (the flat had some horrid pictures in it, which we changed)!!

£s

Just bought a freezer. What a highlight to a day :) hehe. I found quite a good one in Comet that is small enough for a worktop for the flat we’re moving into. Going to pick it up when we’ve got the keys to the flat though, which is good, I don’t want an extra freezer in the current place really.

Well….you know what I mean?

What a horrid day. Terrible day, just one of those I wish I could have slept through. Work was crap (excuse my language-I am on rant mode) and when we got home the mood just sank further, I am not going to even regale that tale. And for those few of you that do read my blog….trust me, you do NOT want to know. Lets just say, it’s disgusting and nailed home how much we need to get out of this flat. What a day, oh what a day. No beer and I could really ‘murder a pint’. And there I was this morning, blogging, in quite a good mood, amazing what 12 hours can do to a person, isn’t it?

Good weekend

Had a real good weekend, Graham and I went to stay at Graham’s parents place for the weekend and Graham did his Xmas shopping. I got a v v luvely new laptop bag so alls good. In other news, Graham and I have signed papers for moving into a new flat. We move in a few weeks and the new flat, although is a little smaller than our current one, has all the little luxuries that we miss at the moment, like a washer, a big enough kitchen and decent furniture. It is in a much nicer area of Southampton (it is also closer to where our work friend, Sam lives). Where we are moving to is basically where the posh flats of Southampton are. It is further away from town, but closer to the main university campus’, unlike our current place. I can’t wait to move. Just got to remember the 2 million things that come with moving.

Grrrr

Well. It definately is one of “those” days. I have been made webmaster basically of our departmental website, as well as my many other positions here. I’ve been given it to do as I know about website editing and CSS and, well, web site “stuff”. We’ve had a template designed for us but it’s a little buggy as it was done in spare time. It’s just annoying, when I alter 1 style, another screws. Grrrrrrrr. It’s going to be a long day.
